March Madness!! - March 18, 2009

Hey,
What a great time we had for St Paddy's week again.

Our first job started on Friday at Cocco Jarry's in Renfew and as usual, we had a great time, with great people and a great host.
Great to see my old singing buddy, Grant Tomkinson who got up for a few tunes for old times sake!! And if you are into motorbikes..he can help you out.

Then on to Douglas and once again a great crowd and a great party. There was great entertainment all day and night. We also divulged that Douglas was reported to be the party place on St. Paddys day, according to an article in ....(get this) ..playboy!!

We took a rest and then hit St Paddy's day hard, starting at the Heart and Crown and moving up to Buckingham to finish off at the Windsor tavern.
A few friends joined in to help us out. Thanks to Cleary Morris and Ben May.

See you again..same time next year!!

CD release Party in Ottawa - February 29, 2008

Well, the CD release party put on by Blessed Scrament Parish was a great success. We sang to a sold out crowd of 200 people and according to the feedback, they could have sold more!!

We had the pleasure of the Trillium Accademy of Irish Dance feature some great entertainment and really pleased the crowd.

Chris Honegger then joined in with us to finish the evening off with lots of dancing.

But, I must say, the highlight was Fr Joe's "chicken song"!

Thanks to all those who made this a great success and helped sell our CD! And by the way, the jumbo was good!

Check out some new photo's of the evening.

Glengarry CD Party a Blast - November 25, 2007

What a great night. Thanks to all the musicians who lent a hand! The music was fantastic.

The Brigadoons started the show off in great style. Ashley MacLeod then hit the stage after "The 2 Paddys" and was joined by a group of the best musicians around. Kelsey McDonell on piano, Neil Emburg on Guitar and by surprise, Bobby Lalonde joined in on bass along with Adam Lalonde on the Jembee. What a great sound.
Repeat performances were many along with a visit from several fiddlers who did a great set for us.

Later it developed into a jam session with Bob Burnie, Neil MacDonell and Gerry O'Neill. It wasn't long and we wrapped up the eveing by inviting "The Fridge full of Empty's in on the fun. Paul Villeneuve and Mark Hall graced the stage.

Thank you to all the freinds who came out to listen to the great afternoon of entertainment.

Also, many thanks to the Kemp clan who came out to help with the event.
